Buying and selling
Anything that sells: new and second-hand goods, clothes, electronics, furniture, vehicles, property, as well as services and job offers. Each category has its own form, with the fields that matter for it.
We are starting in Senegal, where the team is based and where the app is built around local habits. The goal is to cover the whole WAEMU zone — Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Togo — sharing the same currency and the same mobile payment methods.
YO'orna is available on the App Store, for iPhone and iPad. The Android version is coming very soon to Google Play: sign up to the newsletter to hear when it lands.
YO'orna connects buyers and sellers through built-in messaging: once you have agreed on the deal, the two of you settle where, when and how the handover happens (in person, or through the courier of your choice).
Payment, shop and trust
YO'orna takes nothing on your transactions: once the price is agreed in messaging, you pay the seller directly (cash, Wave, Orange Money, bank transfer…), whichever suits you both. The only payment we handle ourselves is the seller subscription, paid online through our partner PayDunya.

The Pro subscription turns an account into a shop: custom banner and logo, seller badge, sales statistics (views, contacts, orders) and a shareable public storefront.
Through identity verification: a seller can submit an official document, which earns a verified badge once checked. On top of that are buyer reviews, subscription badges, and the ability to report or block an account from any listing. Since we do not handle your payments, stick to the usual precautions: prefer handing over in person, and check the item before paying.
